Oftentimes when Christians talk about ‘the faith’ as it is used in scripture, they believe it is only referring to the gospel of salvation. The gospel is indeed part of how God’s Word is using ‘the faith,’ but that is a very narrow and shallow understanding of its’ meaning.
‘The faith’ encompasses the whole of scripture. It is what God requires for any blessing, gift, understanding or relationship with the Almighty. “The faith’ extends from Genesis to Revelation, and thus, we should read and study the whole book.
