Are You Hearing the Words of Jesus?

Oftentimes when we read or listen to the scriptures, we tend to gloss over many words that are there. This is nothing new to this age. Even when Christ was on the earth and teaching his disciples, they often didn’t really hear what he was saying. Just as what they heard was formed by their world view, so often what we read is understood by our world view and not what the words actually say.
