Again and again throughout Paul’s epistles, he uses strong action words to get his point across. He corrects those that have removed themselves from the gospel or may move away from it. He tells us to stand, to withstand, to fight. We are to walk and not bite and devour. He uses many colorful and illustrious words to describe his message to us.
