There are many times in scripture where the phrase ‘one thing’ is used. This study looks at the importance of that phrase in five particular passages.
One thing in these passages has to do with the relationships between God and the individual believer.
In one example, David says that the one thing he wants above all the others is to look upon the beauty of God and live in His temple. This is why David is call a man after God’s own heart.
