Although they were developed after the Reformation, there are five “Solas” that guided those first reformers. They are:
Sola Scriptura – Scripture only
Sola Fide – Faith Alone
Sola Gratia – Grace Alone
Sola Christus – Christ Alone
Sola Deo Gloria – Glory to God Alone
These are the five main disagreements they had with the Roman Catholic Church. This study begins to delve into the Catholic Church’s beliefs and the responding beliefs of the reformers.
