Matthew 6:9-13 is what is commonly called “The Lord’s Prayer.” It is repeated in multitudes of churches every week, actually contradicting what Christ said in verse 7.
This prayer is not a prayer that the Lord prayed, but instructions that he was giving to his disciples. It wasn’t something for them to simply repeat, but a manner and pattern for what they should pray.
