When most Christians pray to God, they expect Him to do something. Often it is for healing, to change another person, to change the circumstances in their lives, or many other physical things.
Considering Paul’s prayer life, it is interesting to note how he prayed and what the results of his prayers were. In this dispensation, prayer is spiritual and provisional. What God will do and how He does it are represented to us in Paul’s epistles. The final result can be peace if one understands how God is working in the world today.
