Every time a tragedy occurs, there are two inevitable responses. First, a large plurality of people will say: “Our thoughts and prayers are with you.” Reacting to that, some will say: “If prayer worked, why did the tragedy occur in the first place?”
Prayer is one of the most mis-understood topics among not only Christendom, but the world in general. Prayer always functions in the manner in which the dispensation it is used in functions.
Prayer under the law was conditional.
Prayer in the kingdom will be unconditional.
Prayer in the dispensation of grace is provisional.
