Grace Alive is built on four pillars of truth.
The first is a book you can trust. We believe that the King James Bible is God’s Word for English speaking people. We believe that every word is true and when we disagree with any part of it, we are wrong. The second is a gospel you can believe. It is only by believing that Christ died for our sins and through his shed blood we are redeemed. Works are no part of it, because Christ did it all.
The third pillar is teaching you can understand. We believe that God’s Word must be rightly divided to be properly understood. The simplest division is between heaven and earth. God has a plan and purpose for the heavenly places, and a plan and purpose for the earth. And both will be united under the Lord Jesus Christ.
Finally, we believe in a life you can live. Just as we are saved by grace through faith, we must live by grace through faith. No laws or rule books or any system of imposed discipline will give us a life to live. That life must be achieved by being crucified with Christ, and by looking to him and living in him can we live a life for him.
